About Us
The Crooked Creek Farmers Market is a new market being started by Crooked Creek CDC on the northwest side of Indianapolis as a way to bring local healthy food into a community that lacks a full service grocery store. The market will be held weekly in the parking lot at the 7000 block of Michigan Rd (US 421) just south of its intersection of 71st St starting on Sunday June 3rd and ending on Sunday October 14th. The area is very diverse both ethnically and economically. There is everything from the well to do Meridian Hills neighborhoods to Section 8 housing all within a mile of the market?s location. The CCFM will accept SNAP, debit and credit cards and use FMNP to help reach the whole spectrum of the area?s residents. On top of being richly diverse, the Crooked Creek area is also a very busy commercial corridor with Michigan Rd seeing over 40,000 cars per day. This combination of diversity and visibility make the CCFM a great place to grow your customer base and increase sales.
