Lincoln Park Farmers Market is a seasonal market, June - October, on Sunday's focusing on locally grown fruits and vegetables, locally made specialty foods as well as and locally made arts and crafts. Our mission is to educate the community about healthy, locally grown food, and promoting good health. Our objective is Michigan grown/Michigan made by the farmer, vendor, and crafter. With the emphasis on organic foods, the advantage of a local farmer market is that one can talk to the farmer who raised the foods that they are to take home and eat.
Lincoln Park Farmers Market, organized and coordinated by non-profit 501c3 organization Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market, has been in existence since 2007 and under Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market since 2012. We are Downriver’s oldest farmers market. The market is currently located at the southwest corner of Fort Street and Southfield Road close to the Lincoln Park Historical Museum and Lincoln Park City Hall. The market is easily assessable for customers from Fort Street, Southfield Road as well as I-75 and I-94. There are over 59,000 households within three miles of the market. We have regular customers from Lincoln Park, Detroit, Ecorse, River Rouge, Wyandotte, Allen Park as well as other Downriver cities.
