Broad Branch Farm, Ltd.

We are a chemical-free vegetable and chicken farm operated by Anita & Brian Poeppel. Anita & Brian have been growing food for the public and their own table for 11 years. The farm produces a wide variety of vegetables, in particular salad and cooking greens, and pasture raised chickens for meat and eggs. Although not certified organic, the farm follows strict growing practices and does not use any chemical or synthetic inputs to produce the vegetables or chickens. Anita & Brian firmly believe in the health of the soil and how fertile, biologically active soil can produce nutritious, great-tasting food. We sell at the Naperville Farmer's Market. CSA members pick up at the farm, Naperville, Peoria, and Peoria Heights. The farm is open all year for the direct sales of Farm Therapy Soaps and Natural Body Care and homemade granola.
